  1. Well Sunday is the day of rest. I must confess on this occasion it has been very handy as I am heading south tomorrow night and I need these firewalls and had it dropped on me late Friday afternoon that I needed them so has been useful on this occasion. Thing is though certain things split weekdays and weekends and one of the things I love about Sunday is no post. Depends how far the local PO is I've never seen it offered before which surprised me. We use myhermes a lot as they are one if the few that will just leave something in the engineers shed. They are starting Sunday collections / deliveries
  2. Ordered a couple of Cisco firewalls and to my surprise was offered delivery on Sunday at the same price as normal next day delivery. I wasn't even aware it was possible. I know I can send stuff for Saturday delivery for about £25 but was surprised that amazon offered Sunday delivery at no premium. I notice Royal Mail are to do the same for parcels (god knows how the unions welcomed that one) so is it inevitable that in the world we live in, no day is off limits now? Would the fact you could get gear delivered to you / your engineers on a Sunday encourage more use of online shopping for gear from the likes of security warehouse?
  3. For all I know the lossing co might be a member here
  4. Are you EVER going to let this charge for UDL thing drop? I've been babysitting a new start salesman. When I asked the panel he didn't know so I asked for a photo. Can't tell you the relief when I got this.
  5. They are now yes. Takeover but customer wants the unit replacing as keys warn out Thanks
  6. Hilarious. I was more wondering specifically who's door entry thing.
  7. That's Chris. Checking for hackers . . .
  8. Hilarious. Top secret then. Also if using PSTN easy enough to work out by monitoring the line.
  9. X files level of paranoid thinking again. It's irrelevant the make model of the signalling. If it is using GPRS I know how to defeat it and landline is the same. Doesn't matter if it is csls, Redcare or webway so if I wanted to do over one of your customers the actual brand you use is irrelevant. Defeating it is all the same. Seen as you know we use MAS, webways, Redcares and soon to be dualcoms. How does this top secret information assist you?
  10. Cells are already congested with benefit bums watching jezza en route to the dole office. Thought he'd prefer his old West Yorkshire roots due to the very welcoming Yorkshire folk
  11. Oh I don't know. He likes West Yorkshire so Bradford might be good
  12. Thought all emergency services used airwave? If I was in your shoes, I'd move. So the dual path alarms you fit give GPRS issues?
  13. How much quicker is it? Yes, I discovered this issue when in Wales last week. Did my head in. GPRS only if any signal at all.
  14. Anyone here got it? Is it all that? I've kept on iPhone 4S as I have a ton of stuff with the old footprint. With the imminent release of the next iPhone thinking of an upgrade but the major reason for 4G. Is it all that compared to 3G?
  15. Since when did videofied allow streaming to an app? Videofied works exactly the same way as the Honeywell one does ie you need a video server that is 99% in the arc so same problem Maybe risko is your best bet (assuming the cloud isn't down again)
  16. It's a visual verification pir, not spy on my gaf via a smartphone pir.
  17. I think you might be right doctor beast. I love my iPhone but hate it as much if that makes sense?
