We record everything in the day book, I can't recall if we can locate the supplier from the list or if it's just documented in the notes.
Jef, can you detail any outstanding issues with 305? I'm keen to upgrade before I decide if moving is the best idea or not.

We don't sign them, we populate the signature field with the user details.

That's ******** Jeff. We rarely use tech support, but I don't rate AM compared to the alternatives I've seen. That has nothing to do with having ti merge our own documents, we have about 30. I don't think we ever used any of their 1980 4737 documents that are included.
There are lots of core things about the software I don't like.
They do lots of things we need to do with the stats etc. but they are so off the mark compared to other stuff that's out there.
Can I ask when you last looked around at the alternatives?

We use one of the user fields for signature, so it is just populated with users name that is logged in at the time. We also remade it so we could change it easily each time ACPO see fit to revise it.
I didn't feel all that comfortable uodating so we left it alone for the time being.
I, and I'm sure others would appreciate if you could provide details of some of the niggles. Even by PM if you'd rather not publish it here.

Lol you must be joking Rich. They don't provide docs.
They will help with merges though Dave so worth an ask. We are on the lates iffice now, not sure how back compatible that is. We use office 365.

We have the sign field populated by AM.

I think ours works fine, I can only recall drop down boxes for the top two. Everything else is populated by AM.

And Jeff wonders why I'm not a fan of AM.We use it, I only have experience of the mobile side on android. It is **** compared to Cash, if there is more than about 10 lines of text in the call description you cant see the rest, there are no scroll up/down arrows. Calls can be deleted from the device by the engineer, if the office delete a call or transfer it to another engineer , the call stays on the original engineers pda which usually means that 2 engineers go to the job. You cannot read the history of previous calls.

Leigh I would ask yourself how many monthly subscriptions do you have (sky etc.) ?
Do any of them seem more important than a subscription that can protect your home and everything inside? Starting from around £25 per month I think it's a no brainer.

If I'm out of the office you rarely get an email reply from me and never at the weekend. I leart pretty quick that customers are like pets, they need to be trained.

Go for the straight swap if you are not experienced. You should also consider some nice new keypads, the others must be a bit off white by now.
