Hi Everyone,

We are finally going for our NSI Silver this year, having been trading for 5 years now.

Can anyone recommend a good consultant who has had experience of helping companies like ours with our accreditation process?

We are not only interested in becoming accredited but we also want to use this opportunity to refine our internal processes and procedures so we are ready for the next stage of growth.

Main criteria:
- someone who has helped a number of companies achieve NSI Silver (we specialise in Access Control / CCTV / Intruder)
- familiar with the latest standards

Nice to have:
- experience as an engineer (i.e. not just an ex-NSI auditor)
- health & safety / risk mngt. awareness
- familarity with operations and sales within an installation company working with end-user clients (we don't do subbie work)

We are set on NSI so would appreciate not to get into the NSI vs SSAIB debate if at all possible

good luck.I dont know anyone that does this my self but im sure someone will. Might be helpful if you say where in the uk you are.

There are various folks that do this. Quick call to the NSI should give you a list of contacts.

I used to be responsible for procuring security systems as a facilities manager and now that I'm on the other side of the fence it's great to see the community you have built up here filled with people who are passionate, knowledgeable and most of all happy to help ----v.impressed!!
