Hi All,

Just took over a job this week which has a vista dvr/mux installed.(model vc16ste 1000gb)

ALL the access codes have been changed from the factory default settings.

I found a set of pins under the cover marked ground and reset, tried a short on the pins on power up to reset and had no joy.

Would any one know the correct way to reset this dvr.

Have you tried to contact Norbain's technical support?

They are the suppliers of Vista and I am sure they will be able to talk you through a reset if its possible.

The nice bloke from Norbain was at a loss with this one,he's getting back to me after he talks to the dvr boffin.
