Sl Compact Problem

I resited a PIR. I ensured I rewired the cables as per the original site, however none of my PIRs anywhere in the house now work. They used to flash on and off when detecting motion. They no longer do this, even the 2 PIRs I have not touched! THere is no light at all in the PIRs. The tamper circuit works fine. (As soon as a I take the PIR front off, the alarm sounds.) I made sure I did not connect the 12v +/- cables.

Any clues?

Sounds like AUX fuse in the panel has gone :hmm:

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

Hi ,

You will have blown the aux supply fuse , by touching the 12v power feeds together.

It is usually a 20mm 1 or 1.6A fuse.(check)

As usual , beware of hazardous voltages etc.

Regards
