Are you sure thats not the name of the company that installed it and not the panel make :hmm:

There is a company (or was) called "Argus Security Systems" based in Wigan.

Still going, but as far as I know, they don't have their panels re-labeled or badged up. At least not the ones I've seen.

There was also an Argus in london that covered london and the south east, dd a lot of bespoke fire systems, they bought Modern Fire systems and then they themselves was swalled up by Orbis.

Theres also an Aegis in london that he might be thinking of also.

Hi thanks everyone for all you help but to close the subject i went to the house last night to try and wing it and it turns out to be another company based in the north west and it was a texecom panel, the owner didnt have a clue about the alarm system full stop, he tried to take all the wires out of the end station to stop it going off,

I am one of the few ex Argus fire engineers. I left Modern to go elswhere for a time and was head hunted by Argus. :fear:
