Securit 700L

I have a Securit 700L alarm fitted with one control panel. I am having an extension fitted to the house. Is it possible to have another control panel fitted to the side of the house so I can access the house through either location and switch the alarm off from either panel?

Hi there, this is possible but I would personally recommend upgrading your existing panel to a control that will facilitate your requirement. You could then ad additional protection and an extra keypad to the required location.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

I presume you mean another keypad to operate your existing system from. The 700L is now obsolete and has been replaced with the 800L. You would have to replace the control equipment with an 800L + two keypads. The 800L will give you 8 zones.

800L keypad will work on a 700L Panel the only difference is num 8 LED will mean tamper.
