hey there i been reading the Veritas 8c installion manual and does the engineer have a extra pin lets say my pin is 9685 and a engineer comes does he enter a differnet pin?

you are correct you will have the master or a user code. The enginer has his own code

usually there are _at least_ three MAINLY different code types in systems:

USER = SET/UNSET

MASTER = SET/UNSET+OTHER FUNCTIONS

ENGINEER/INSTALLER = OTHER/ENGINEER FUNCTIONS

some panels have different levels for user codes.

and :yes: PIN's 99,99% differs from each others.. :-|

Of course there is, simply tap out the numbers and add 1 each time. :P

0001, 0002, 0003, 0004, 0005 alll the way to 9999, what could be simpler. Ever wondered why your calls out seem to take forever? The engineer's simply forgot the code and is doing the exact procedure above. * :whistle:
