i have a veritas R8 installed. all working fine and programmed, but the only problem is i cannot change the PIN.

the book says enter the engineer code, press 60, enter new pin code, prog, then reset to go back to 'unset'. however, when i do this, it changes the engineer code, and not the PIN code. what am i doing wrong?

EDIT: have found out how to do it. didnt relize you have to use the PIN then prog to change it
