I have been very happy with my alarm but the rechargeable battery inside the control panel has finally ceased to work.

I need a replacement quickly and would appreciate any information on what battery I need and where to buy it.

I live in Leeds so I expect there is a shop somewhere.

You can also try your nearest branch of Maplins, although like a few Pete`s mentioned they tend to charge that little bit extra.

Thanks for the feedback. I seem to have ommitted that I threw the battery away months ago and so don't have any spec on a replacement. This is another reason why I posted in the forum.

I need an idiot proof spec as I may end up going to Maplins!

As Pete mentioned earlier, Ask for a 12 Volt 2.1AH (amp/hour) battery.
