Guest Stuart N
I have a scantronic 9800 and I need to crash the panel because I have forgotten the engineers code. I have an installers guide and it says remove the NVM chip IC8 but it does not exist. The only chip not soldered on the board is the main IC. How do I crash the panel? Thanks Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/5722-how-to-crash-a-9800/ Share on other sites
Guest
How do I crash the panel? 47836 Simple answer, you call an alarm co. We don't give out information on defaulting alarm panels in the public areas I'm afraid. Guest Stuart N
Is there another area in which I can receive some information? It must be obvious that I have an installers guide to know the standard way of refreshing. Calling out an alarm company is an unecessary option. I installed it in the first place, just didnt need to do this action then. Any help is appreciated. norman
Its at the rear of the installation manual. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. Guest
Although if you can't decipher the manual then should you really be playing with the system? Nova-Security
It must be obvious that I have an installers guide to know the standard way of refreshing. 48092 There is only one way of crashing a 9800 (the standard way) and if you have the engineers manual it is deffently in that. www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name. The board is issue 12. I am in Mcr. I am sure you guys know how to do it in the event the IC8 chip does not exist. Can someone email me with the answer?
