Can anyone tell me how I can disable this alarm while I service a sender unit on a window....the unit seems to be suffering from condensation...but everytime I try to remove the cover the bell goes off..... Guest camdec Posted May 5, 2005 Share Posted May 5, 2005 That is called a Tamper. Unfortunatly it will keep activating every time you remove the lid. You should be able to put you code in and it will silence it. Just make sure that the lid is replace correctly else the tamper will not clear and you will not be able to set the alarm!!!!!
