Guest mikechids
I have a MERIDIAN SMS Messenger. Question about Telephone connection.... In the manual it says the connection are as follows..... TA = Line `A` In TB = Line `B` In TC = Line `A` Out TD = Line `B` Out TE = Telecom Ground How does this relate to the telephone connection from the extension socket numbered 1-6. What goes to where? Thanks Mike Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/5641-connecting-sms-messenger/ Share on other sites
Guest
TA = 5 in master socket. TB = 2 in master socket. TC = 5 in secondary socket. TD = 2 in secondary socket. TE = Well, ground! It's set up for line seize, if you're not using line sieze just connect TA and TB to any socket and disregard TC and TD. Thanks Mike 46821[/snapback] TA = Line `A` In TB = Line `B` In are the incoming wires from bt TC = Line `A` Out TD = Line `B` Out are the outgoing wires from the panel to the rest of the sockets around the house. for your purposes, you'll only need to wire the blue /white band and white / blue band to the unit, they connect to pins 2 and 5 respectively Regards Bellman Service Engineer and all round nice bloke ) The views above are mine and NOT those of my employer.
