can anyone out there please help with my alarm system. I have moved into a new house and require to do some electrical work but every time i turn off main power supply alarm goes off. Only have limited info on system operation and NOTHING re dissarming alarm for a short period. PLEASE PLEASE help me. lol. :cry:

Hi,

It sounds as though the back up battery is faulty, I would advise a full service and replacement. Post your location and I'm sure someone will be able to offer more help.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Thanks for the info. I live in Glasgow so if you know of any reputable companies in the area i would be very grateful. Any idea of a guesstimate on price so i don't get too ripped off ? Faulty battery eh. Damn. lol. thanks again folks.

Expect to pay £50 upwards plus parts, Alarmgard did cover Glasgow (not sure if he still does).

If the panel hasnt been serviced for a while the panels charging circuits may be damaged.
