Guest andy31 Posted March 21, 2005 Share Posted March 21, 2005 Hi all, I have recently moved into my flat. The alarm has been working fine up until today. It is a Veritas 8 zone alarm. When I tried to set it earlier, it simply made a short beep. Whatever button I press it does the same, even if I try to reset it with my pin number first. Guest Posted March 21, 2005 Share Posted March 21, 2005 Not without the engineer code, sounds like a service timer has expired. I think youll have to get someone out to reset it for you. Or if the unit beeps 1 to 8 times and a zone light appears - then that zone is in fault when you are trying to set the system. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
