RE: Pulsar 6 System

Does anyone have an engineers manual for one of these - A friend's got one in his house - again - it was there before him and it's saying TRBL COMM and refuses to set. I am assuming it thinks it has a coms board or something even though the alarm has never had monitoring.

Anyways - Want to default and reconfigue if possible otherwise I'm gonna have to rip it out and chuck in a old spare 9800 I've got...

Any advice / the manual would be much appreciated...

Pete - I would understand if I was the end-user asking for the manual but I am trying to save a friend and myself the hassle of having to change his panel. I can assure you I am more than capable of fitting / re-fitting this panel if I can get a manual.

Never mind - if I cannot obtain one I shall fit a trusty Scantronic unit I removed from an upgrade recently.

With all due respect, prove what to who?

Not being funny but I came on here for advice and one specific panel' manual - not thousands - I have the manuals for every other alarm I have fitted or plan on fitting and I could not agree more with the fact that the users should not have the engineering manual - or at least should be heavily warned off playing with the panels.

But - I am stuck at the moment with a panel at a mates house that I have not had the pleasure of working with - and I'm doing him a favour rather than causing him a load of grief.

Never mind - If you're not going to help I'll get one elsewhere.

Steve without proof that you're trade we cannot give out engineering manuals.

There are legal reasons for this as well as the fact that we havent a clue who you are.

For all we know you could be wanting to get round your mates panel without him knowing, or it could be a panel at work that you want to get round.

If you work in the trade you would respect the fact that engineering manuals should not be handed to un identified persons.

And if you are in the trade you would already know where to get one already without asking us.

i applied,waited patiently got the phone call off the nice lady (linda i think?) explained i work for //.National Installer.// answered a few questions,she said no probs told me about some other sites and said she would e mail me back.i have heard zip and this was about a month ago now

Sorry logical, just found your application, made in January.. When no one can vouch for you the 20 post rule is all we have to base your application on, so we have to wait for the posts to build up.
