I've recently moved into a house which has an Optima XM alarm system installed.

I have an operation manual but cannot make any sense of it. I have no previous knowledge of dealing with or setting alarms.

How do I clear the previous settings and start from scratch to input my own alarm code?

Can anyone advise how I would go about it?

Thanks for the instructions, was able to follow. Unfortunatly don't know the user code as I purchesed the house from previous tennants who departed 18 months ago. Do you know how I can retrieve or change the user code?
