January 18, 200521 yr comment_37355 I have a Scantronic system 9600 with two keypads. One is broken and my technician told me that it is not repairable, so i found one Scantronic keypad 9930. The seller told me that it is compatible. Can you please confirm and if it is necessary to make some modification to the system to connect 9930 or other suggestions? Thanks for your reply. January 18, 200521 yr comment_37360 Who told you its compatible? As far as i know the 9600 is only compatible with 9625 keypads The 9930 has four terminals compared to the 9625 which has three, and the panels are completely different. Now which seller was this? ebay user no doubt!? Let us know the details, always good for a laugh the 'pros' on ebay are! January 21, 200521 yr comment_37560 Scantronic do an upgrade kit for the old panels, we upgrade quite a few and they will fit the old 9800, 9600 panels etc. You get a new keypad with the kit (9930) so you will just need to buy another 9930 for your system. This is of course work for the professionals so it makes me wonder why your 'technician' wasn't aware of this?
