Hi all... I have recently come across a Scantronic 9448+ and want to install a simple alarm system for my sister. She needs: x5 PIRs, x1 Entry Door Magnet Sensor and an external bell box - simple stuff, no?

I've done some simple electrical DIY stuff but need your advice. I cannot find where to get Scantronic PIRs at a decent price, so am wondering if there are other compatiable PIRs. Do I have to stick with the manufacturer's?

You don't have to have the same brand.Go for Texecom Reflex and a Texecom Odessey 1 bellbox. :)

Also , it may be easier to get a quote from a reputable local company , let them plan and choose gear for you.

In other words - don't try, you will balls it up!! lol!
