Internal intruder alarm speaker

Hi

I recently upgraded my alarm control board and panel to a veritas system. Since then the old existing internal speaker is a lot quieter. It is some age . Does it need replacement or has the new installation somehow affected the speaker(kinetic ksb 5516)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi thanks for your reply. No . Is that the low volume control (no 11) inside the control panel. It suggests in the manual that for entry/exit tones

the veritas is a budget panel, maybe the driver isnt as powerful as the one taken out?
