September 2, 200322 yr comment_2207 Bell Box Panel A ---> 12V B ---> Bell C ---> TR D ---> 0V S ---> STR Depending on what texecom bell box it is, i think the LED's on the bottom of it tell you if there's a tamper on the box. Left LED flashing battery connected. Right LED flashing tamper closed. Both LED's flashing tamper closed and hold off from panel present. Dont quote me on that, it's from memory and we only ever use the Odyssey 3, but it does say in the papers you get with the bell itself. September 3, 200322 yr comment_2221 It sounds like you have a problem with the 12v supply as provided that there is 12v supply the LED's should light up. Have you moved the +ve battery terminal from the null terminal to the +12v batt terminal? This should at least make the left LED start to flash (as I recall). September 3, 200322 yr comment_2247 Yeah as dale said when you look at the terminal connections inside the 1st 3 are where the internal bellbox battery connects to, the red wire comes parked in the middle(nc) terminal and needs moving the the right 1 spot, this starts the left led flashing, then when u put the front cover on and the tamper closes the right led flashes on its own. Check if you have a multimeter set to DC volts that there's 12 volts across 12v and 0v at all times, and not across the 12v and Bell terminals. When you say the sounder works, at which stage does it start to sound?
