Connected to which panel?

(gal 8/16 can be done, the others can only be on or off, and that is an engineer function)

Manuals not with me, but i'm sure its on the ademco website

for the 8/16 you press the star key and another key

this will do vol/backlight/print log

It is not keys 8/5/2 though

I am sorry, to be incomplete.

It's a 60 panel mod V4. I know the ON/OFF function is in the service menu (58), always was.

But I believe that the more recent panels and keyboard has a volume controle via the keypad aswell

If the vol is a problem may be you could fit an extension speaker, which you

would then have full control over the volume?

there is no volume adjust on 18,60`s,500`s just the on off in keypads/58.

Resistors in line in the speaker but it mutes all tones.
