Gegg247
On 20/10/2018 at 18:26, MaxX said: Yes have eng manual for panel and manual for config software. CS all running on my W10 machine fine. I can ping my panel responding fine. Tried to do a port scan on the panel IP - see what port it’s listening to-no ports are open.. Went to keypad and into 4) Communication - 3) Config. SW - 3) IP Gateway - 1) IP Address - (have set this to my router IP: 192.168.1.254) 2) IP Port - (have set this to 01000 basically port 1000) On my config software, tried connecting via TCP/IP using local panel IP: 192.168.1.66 with port set to 1000 But getting Error 20014 - TCP/IP communication engine failed - if connnected by cloud, be sure the panel is on-line. I just had this exact problem myself, so for anyone else experiencing this issue, the information in the help is misleading. 1) IP Address - (have set this to my router IP: 192.168.1.254) THIS IS CORRECT 2) IP Port - (have set this to 01000 basically port 1000) THIS IS NOT CORRECT The port number you are looking for is the Panel Port Number which is located (and can be changed) by going through the following steps: Select Communication, go to menu item 1) Method and press enter (#), Scroll down to menu item 3) IP and press enter, scroll to menu item 2) Panel IP/Port and hit enter. Make a note of the panel port number (default is 03000, change it if you like). This is the port number required in the IP setup of the Configuration Software. Hope this helps someone.
