Andy81
Hello, I have a 9651 panel which has been down powered for 12 months plus. The bell box was missing.... I have replaced the bell box and powered up the system and installed a new battery. When I try to exit engineering mode the panel reports a battery missing fault every time. Fuses are all OK and battery is brand new. Also tried the battery kickstart procedure. Any thoughts appreciated Thanks Andy Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41947-9651-battery-missing/ Share on other sites

Andy81
Yeah cheap enough for a replacement with one keypad but the replacement firmware version won'the accept the 9930 keypads (3 of) already installed. The keypads are 50 quid each... Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41947-9651-battery-missing/#findComment-474494 Share on other sites
Andy81
It is going to get replaced anyway. Just curious to see if anyone has seen this before or if I'm missing a trick. Andy81
Im not really a fan of scantronic. If I had my way I'd replace it with a texecom premier. It's the cost for the customer I'm trying to save. Why not the ion 16?
