You obviously like warms, viruses, trojans, etc...?

EVERY professional in IT - sector knows that microsoft is known for bug's in security.

I bet that if you would build a house you would ask a quotation for windows that would crash by themselves every week.. + an nonworking alarms so that thieves could get easily in..:lol:

Mandrake 9.1 on the laptop, IPCop firewall and Mandrake on the server, although I might change that soon.

Next project I'm looking at is an in-car PC, built around a Linux distro.

I never said Microsoft software dosent have bugs and security issues. The only reason why bugs exist is because of the idiot user that dosent know what they are doing.

Worms and Viri only exist in a poorly protected environment. The professionalism comes in, when making sure that such worms and viri cant access your systems.

Microsoft Rocks, I have tried the rest and sorry guys but MS is best.

Linux, BeOS, Lindows, nothing compares to the functionality of Windows, its only because its soo popular it gets attacked more.

If any variant of Linux were the dominant OS we would all be in much deeper shoot.

Erm, some technical problems there.

I think I said something along the lines of I have a Purely Microsoft machine here, it's well protected behind hardware and software security and other than the odd randome lockup I don't have any major problems.

Linux is still a project in most peoples eyes, and unfortunately will be unheard of by the masses for a long time to come.

I think I then got distracted and lost the train of thought completely and wrote some utter nonsense.

The thing is, no matter how much more stable and secure Linux may be new software is usually runnable out of the box on most recent ish MS machines by novices. If the functionallity and ease of use of Microsofts products were equalled by Linux then I'm sure it would be a more popular OS but it's not.
