Configuring Texecom veritas keypads

Hi, I am hoping that someone may be able to tell me how I go about configuring Two Texecom Veritas keypads. I have fitted a new Texecom R8 panel and two keypads for my son. Both keypads were wired straight back to the panel and not daisy chained,so that when I applied power I assumed that according to the installer manual they would automatically configure their different addresses.This did not happen and I was not able to operate the alarm from either keypad.I disconnected one and the alarm worked fine.It would appear that both keypads have defaulted to address one,causing the problem.

My question how do I configure them separately to 1 and 2. I know what the book says but this has done my head in and I cant remember my name ! I no its a bit dim but if I go into the menu and key in 09 it shows 1 how do I change to 2. I presume I use the keypad numbers somehow but I am at a loss. Grateful for any help.

select "1" on 1st keypad,

select "2" on 2nd keypad,

 

confirm this in programming

 

lights 1&2 will be lit. both keypad should now work
