risco prosys 40

Featured Replies

just installed a risco prosys 40 alarm with 2 touchscreen keypads, but only 1 keypad is working, the second 1 is just displaying stars on the screen and wont let you do anything with it, it will bleep when you press any of the buttons and that's it,

gone through the setup with screen 1 and its saying keypad 1 id 01 and 100% connection to bus, and it finds keypad 2 when scanning bus and says id 02 and 100% connection with bus but still won't do anything,

i set the dip switches to id 1 for keypad 1 and id 2 for keypad 2 which is what it is picking up, just wondering if anyone as come across this before cheers

I'd assume the keypads need enabling in engineering ?

What mind bending drugs in qty to stun a horse did you take before making the bright idea to purchase a  prosys ?

Damn, I knew that yellow bag in the back should have had something more than a brick in it at the end of the shift... :hmm:

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
