The engineer can of course be anyone, but, you'll need to find an installation manual to find out how to reset the system. Unfortunately we don't give that info out here, nor engineer manuals, but if you do figure it out there are a few Risco fans on here that could probably help you once you have your own engineer code.

i do have the engineer code as ive accessed the menu for timers, parameters and so on....

ive doublechecked the seating position of the case on the pir sensor and it seems ok

Right.. so you have got the engineer code. Well, you'll need to find a manual, start again as if it were a new system, and let us know when you get stuck. Just reply on this same thread.

its ok i fixed the problem via the engineers menu under system/parameters and reset the tamper settings...all good.

 

if you google the installation manual you can find it easy on pdf format  if anyone needs the link they can pm me as im sure this cant be posted live via the forum.

 

i wouldve liked the same help in this regard but i can see the security issues involved.
