Guardtec 300 keypad is displaying En?

Does anyone know how to reset the keypad to erase En that is being displayed on the keypad, or how I can reset the alarm back to factory resetting so it can be reprogrammed please?

Hi, the En as I understand it, the unit is in engineer mode. (ie you have entered the engineer code)

No defaulting info in public please

Hi aissecur thanks for the reply, the panel was already showing en when I went to the persons home, don't know if who may have put it in engineer mode as it was in that state when they moved in recently.

if you could pm me with any info regarding defaulting an alarm or stuff like that wish I fully understand why that would be great thank you

Trade members are not allowed to discuss defaulting using the forum, including PMs

 

It's highly likely the alarm was put into Engineer mode as a cheap way of silencing one or more faults.
