Remember to revert it back to Hybrid mode after

I thought guard access will cause full alarm condition if entry/exit timer has not.started. ie for a hallway pir. As the front door is not going.to be opened shouldnt it be programmed.as.timed.entry/exit zone

If you have a read of the manual it states a Guard Access zone will start the part set entry timer when system is part set. I personally use entry/exit 2 attribute and never had a problem.

Probably installed ten ish texecom alarms in last 3 years and mines the only one that doesn't seem to work properly,

Are you really sure that its the equipment at fault,  Like others, We use lots of Texecom. I don't experience this sort of issue

I would recommend going through the manual again to get a clear understanding of the zone attributes and features

As above, Guard access should start the entry timer when part set. Double check all other enabled options in the menu
