Hi,

 

I have taken the cover off the panel for my ADT alarm. I put it in engineering mode first. Now I put the cover back on and it says tampers lid. It wont come out of engineering mode.

 

Is there something i need to do to the lid to get re-set the tamper?

It is a galaxy G2 alarm. I enter the engineering code and then press esc. It then does a tampers check and then says "lid"

Ahh right ok, take the lid off and just put the screw in the top hole and make sure the tamper switch clicks

Thanks! I was putting the screw in the bottom!

You mean where there isn't an obvious tamper switch, I don't wish to sound condescending, but sometimes , somethings are just best left to the guys, and gals, who do what they do.
