Specifically, what is an end of line device and do I need these external 1K resistors. August 17, 200322 yr comment_1829 I have to agree with Adrian, it all depends on what equipment your using. Sounds as though you may have a Galaxy panel though, so if thats the case then yes you must use them. Wire the sensors as shown below.
