Honeywell G2 Training Cd

Featured Replies

Hi

I've installed galaxy in the past for past companies but not really touched the programming side. I'm now applying for new installation jobs and I would like to start self learning on that side of the install. Could anyone advise the best way to get the training cd. I've got the g2 bible and I'm trying my very best to read through it but it does become a painful read at times lol

Thank you

I wasn't aware there was a training cd for a g2 or if I'm honest the need for one. This panel is childsplay. If you want to learn it the best advice I'd have is buy one, rig up some test zones read the book and sit and play.

Hi Matthew

cheers for the reply mate. I'm in the process of buying the gear now can't wait to get it all. I don't no if it's a real thing or not but I've just seen a training cd on eBay if u get chance could you have a quick look and tell me if it is what I think it is.

cheers

You mean this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honeywell-Galaxy-Alarm-Training-CD-/171245106372?pt=UK_Burglar_Alarms&hash=item27df00f4c4

All that is there is listed in the engineering guide and clearly laid out. This panel is not a hard one. Big brother can be a different story but the G2 is a baby panel and very easy to get up and running. If you get stuck on specific bits you are welcome to ask here.
