laid out £850, boat, trailer and 18hp engine, grp hull so very tuff, hope to use for extended weekends on csnaks, or psrk tent in campsite as sleeping base then explore by boat.

you thought of an electric motor, bit if engineering ingenuity making a simple bracket ti mount the motor off the side and your sorted.

i e seen them used on those inflatable canoe's at Paper Mill Lock, basically a plank thats cargo strapped to a set of rollochs loops. use motor to go upstream then paddle down stream.
