bren1971 Posted November 20, 2013 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Hi All, Recently had intermittent problems with zone 1 front door MCT 302 contact and now has stopped working altogether. Tried battery change, magnet change and contact itself flashes the 8-9 times when cover removed etc. Alarm is in memory and showing 'not ready' and 'front door open' status when queried. Zone 1 seems to have disappeared as only showing zones 2-9 during diagnostic test. I went to re-enrol zone 1 but the option to 'enrol wl device' is missing from option tree in installer mode (all other options are there)? Yes, possible faulty contact - doesn't flash when magnet /door opened (reed switch may be gone)? But - if I buy another door contact - still have the enrol issue.... sixwheeledbeast Posted November 20, 2013 Share Posted November 20, 2013 IME the reed switch is fine you can hear it click, but it will always show OPEN. You have to "enroll sensor" and press off to delete the zone you are replacing. Are the other zones showing the enroll optionIn "ENROLLING" there is a menu called "ENROLL SENSORS" You know a device is enrolled as when selecting the zone it says "Press OFF to DEL" I don't recall a "enroll wl device" option. TBH the menus are so straight forward, I don't even keep a copy of the manual anywhere to double check. In this state it says system 'ready' however when I re-tighten cover on the contact it reverts to not-ready and door open?
