thanks, Ive managed to source all the bits. is it as straight forward as swapping it over?

So no, they won't be sending a replacement.

tbh never used it, have they closed their CCTv dept or gone under?

to o/p, i'd think a straight swap and try, some pc based kit has a licence chip on the 1st board, easy to see as subsequent boards have empty sockets

Not that i'm aware of.
