JasonOfOz Posted January 22, 2013 Share Posted January 22, 2013 Hi Everyone, Has anyone come across any service providers that offer hosted video storage for CCTV (or Hosted Video As A Service)? It seems very popular in the States and bar a few systems integrators/installers over here I can't seem to find anything. Was expecting one of the monitoring stations to offer it but it doesn't seem to be the case so have considered setting our own up. If you are using one, it would be great to get your thoughts. J. Steve Howard Posted January 23, 2013 Share Posted January 23, 2013 Is the bandwidth cost not prohibitve? I'm guessing to get a reasonable (say) 8 cam installation to the cloud its 5Mb/s or so? Are you 'proper' leased linging it, or have you found something else (ADSL upstream is typically .5 - 2.5, even FTTC has lowish transfer caps?)
