alarmman123
good day, I have got hold of a guardall qx 34i for test bench purposes, I have connected up the keypad using the XIB bus, + - A B. When i power up the unit the keypad beeps, the power light flashes and then when i go to adress the keypad afterwards instead of coming up with the time and date like its supposed to according to the manual, it comes up with 'px kp type-2 v2.00a' it also does this when powering up. is there anything i need to do to stop this. the panel is second hand so it may need defaulting... any suggestions? alarmman123
so how come the system doesnt get any further than the keypad version screen? if i found out how to default would defaulting solve the problem. do i need any resistors or anything to add to the keypad bus connections?
