August 18, 200421 yr comment_20784 I'd suggest the best bet is to go to the manufacturers website of the kit your working on because, as far as i'm aware, a 'guide' like you are after will not be available as each brand of system will have it's own 'guide'. I would add that even if you were to follow such a 'guide', if you do not have sound electrical/engineering knowledge, you will not understand what you're testing for, why you're testing it and what the results mean. This, I'm afraid, comes only with time and experience. :0) If you don't know......ask.
