J_G
Ok, Im using the following equipment - DVR - Dedicated Micros "ECO4" PTZ - Dedicated Micros "2060 PTZ Dome" x 2 -------- This is the scenario - I have 4 cameras, 2 static, 2 DM PTZ's The statics are fine, and the PTZ's have pictures, I have wired a twisted pair to CAM02 then to CAM01 in the RS485 bus line. I have addressed the PTZ cameras as 01 & 02 with the blue & yellow dials inside the camera (the protocol is dennard). On the DVR the protocol for each camera is set to dennard. The serial port is also set to dennard. I have put the + & - to the correct pins 1 & 9. And still I have no movement. Im new to DM PTZ's, is there anything I have to do in the actual camera menu? Also, it isnt a problem that I have wired the BUS line to CAM02 first?? as I thought its only looking for the addresses?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help! plasmarb
Hi, Serial should be port 2 unless the unit states what port should carry data. Check the manaul but you will need to tell the dome what protocol to use. Out of the box should be UTC and select DM Rs 485 as data on the DVR. Any more info let me know
