Hi all,

I have moved to house that has a Guardall Rascal Super fitted. I need to decommission as I understand its quite old. Im wondering if I start taking off the wall, or opening control panel and PIR's if my alarm will go if even though its not set? If so will entering my code disable the alarm?

User code should shut it up-but may not reset it.

your code will silence alarms but will not disable it. Be a poor system if it could. It is old yes.

Also if you decommision the panel you will have to remove the battery from the bell box as this will run on its own for a while when you down power the alarm panel..
