Smoke Detectors To Accenta G4

Featured Replies

Hi

I want to connect 2 Exodus OH/4W smoke detectors to my Accenta G4 Mini control panel.

The connections on the detector are:

Latch input.

12V

0V

No connection (use for loop through if required)

A & B Alarm relay normally closed on alarm.

How should this be connected?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Steve

12v as norm then wire the A B to circuit .Not sure you have to program circuit as fire or circuit 7or8 can only be set for fire

Just to clarify A & B to the circuit 7 or 8 but where to connect 12v?

Thankyou for the help

Guessing it goes to the +13v terminal right??

........so how do I link the 2 detectors together, I guess I run wire from one detector to the other and wire in the same as the first one but am not sure.......do I connect both loop throughs on the detectors together?

Bit confused now, can you clarify that you mean from panel to 1st detector wire in power and A&B to alarm, link A&B from 1st detector to 2nd detector, wire power from panel to 2nd detector?

Guess that's what you mean.....just not sure what you meant by parallel or series.

Thankyou
