October 3, 201114 yr comment_277649 someone has described an old scantronic to me and i cant remember the model, he needs to change the user code but doesnt know how? It is a a metal box with the keypad and screen on the top right hand side of the panel. it is an 2 letter display above the kepad and the keys have a line going throug each key like a triangle and is a different colour but the keypad sectiuon is yellowy/ orange. It is longer than it is wider and has 4 screws one on each corner. normally it is 4 to change the code but i know on some older scantronic it was 6, anyway this has bell test on 4, Any suggestions help would be greatly appreciated on model and how to change code. Thanks. October 3, 201114 yr comment_277653 yes you will need to go into engineer mode if its a 9100, although a 9200,9210 can be changed from the customer code. October 4, 201114 yr comment_277655 To change both User & Eng codes on the 9100, It's an Engineer function. (This is the only real thing wrong with this panel of its day) As this is public I can't tell you. ( Or I'd have to kill you ) but, read your second post again & find the manual. To change User code on the 9200 & 9210 Press 6 Press ENT Enter Existing User Code Enter New User Code Press ENT Edited October 4, 201114 yr by magpye Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.
