hiya was wondering if anyone could help

looking to fit an text activated alarm unit to my veritas 8 compact alarm so that i can text message my alarm to activate or deactivate it.

can anyone tell me and confirm that the key switch input on the veritas 8 compact is pulse or latch activated.

You need to use a Zone on the panel, programmed as Keyswitch.

This would need to be connected to the "text unit" via a relay.

When the zone is opened the system will set, when the zone is closed the system will then unset.

Something like this...

But don't worry about the two "T" terminals

thanks that is very helpfull. looking to attempt setting it up this weekend once my relay has arrived. will keep you informed with my limited knowledge in this area )so whish me luck.
