Greetings from a very wet, dull, miserable and overcast Greek island, we came here to get away from the weather in the UK but have failed miserably today !

Crete finally caught the burglary bug shortly after we built our house here in 2008, in 1990 when I refurbed our UK family home I built in a wired alarm, as you would, but like an idiot assumed Crete would remain crime free, serious mistake and to make matters worse we do not benefit from the reliable back-up, especially in an emergency, offered by the Police in the UK.

So bought a Scantronic Homelink 75 after reading good reports about it and its reliable wireless capability and fitted it, regretably not without a few problems which are old hat now but I do have a recurring fault that I cannot get to the bottom of.

I am posting my problem hoping for some guidance from you guys in the DIY section, please have a look and see if you can throw some light on it for me ?
