Ts700 - Need To Replace The Battery

Featured Replies

I have a TS700 Panel but I have just started to receive an "lb" alarm which means the battery is in need of replacement.

I know the Engineer Code but I don't know the keypad sequence to get to Engineer on Site so that I can remove the cover to access the battery.

My 10 year old ahnd written instructions are;

1. Enter the engineers code - E1 on display

2. Press ENT - E2 on display

3. Press 1 - 01-H on display

4. ?????

5. Press ESC - Engineer on site

If someone can tell me what the correct steps are I would appreciate it.

On a TS700

Lb = Low battery voltage

BF = Battery Fault

Both can indicate a faulty battery, but occasionally could be a fault with the panel charging voltage.

Please Note:- Mains Voltages are present inside the panel and on the PCB!

If you are not confident in replacing your battery, seek a professional.

1. Enter the engineers code - "E1"

2. Replace Panel Battery for correct/same type (check polarity)

3. Replace Lid

4. Press ESC - "ENG ON SITE"

5. Enter User Code "Func"

6. Press ESC (within 5 seconds)

7. "OPEN"

Alternatively this can also be done without entering engineer mode.

This way pressing the wrong buttons will not alter programming.

1. Remove lid *Internal sounder sounds*

2. Enter User Code "Lt"

3. Replace Panel Battery for correct/same type (check polarity)

4. Replace Lid

5. Enter User Code "Func"

6. Press Esc (within 5 seconds)

7. "OPEN"
