February 14, 201115 yr comment_269679 Hello there ladies and gents, I was wondering if you could give the benefit of your experience. Have any of you seen the symptoms shown below when using an AVTech DVR? Only while in low low Light conditions (high AGC), the DVR displayes a large splat of colour noise (see the attached snapshot). I have some footage too but it's encoded and will reqiure a player application to access it. Hope you can help Huge thanks Matt Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/31060-avtech/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 February 15, 201115 yr Author comment_269759 Thanks for the reply James. It turns out that some Colour/IR cameras still send a colour burst when they're running in mono. There was an early version of software that tried to process this information resulting in the effect we see in the snapshot. The software update resolves this issue.
