G2-20

Featured Replies

Changed the 2 batteries on a smoke detector after panel showing low battery last week on a Galaxy G2-20 with RF portal but it still shows the same a week later. The new batteries are the correct 3 volt lithium ones, am I missing something?

Also if I need to delete a device off the portal do I remove the serial number in the zone programming and program it 18-spare or is there a procedure I need to follow?

cheers

Dave

after changing the bats did you send any signals from the unit?

But yes once you delete the serial number thats it.

Tried testing it and the panel goes into alarm but still showing low battery. Tried new batteries again just in case but still the same so looks like a dodge detector. cheers anyway.

ensure both batts have a clean connection. I think they will work with only 1 batt so maybe one isnt seated correctly?
