IPAlarms
I intend to test it across the office, I have the kit here to mock a standalone system up, once I proved it at mine I can see no reason why we can't fire some data at you ? That would be great. Just give me a shout when you're ready. IPAlarms
Hey Adrian, Thanks for the manual, it all makes a little more sense now and I have had a good look around. FYI... I clicked on the Setup menu, then Exit Password (I think) and then Montex locked up. I am running Windows Vista. I had to do a 3 finger shuffle and end the task. I am running v2.9 - let me know if that is not the latest version. AdrianMealing
Yep that's the right version, i had to do that on 7 yesterday, have you got Texbase installed as well? I need to talk to the software guys to see why its doing it, probably a permissions thing as i know it exits cleanly in XP amealing@texe.com Head of Industry Affairs Visit Our Website Texecom Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/31017-montex-monitoring/page/3/#findComment-269783 Share on other sites
looops
Think I need Texbase as I'm not getting anywhere even with Adrian's guide. I've been running Montex on Win 7 for ages no problem, except making it talk with my Premier 48. Suggest you try running it in XP Compatible mode. IPAlarms
have you got Texbase installed as well? No I haven't. Is there a download available, or do I have to buy it from somewhere?
