Ad Optima Compact G3 Help Needed Please

Featured Replies

we have followed your instructions as below -at least twice .replaced the battery and we still have a "single " beep every 5 minutes .

Your advice please .Is it more than just a replacement battery???

If its coming from your bell then its a faulty one, needs replacing

If not, Its not your intruder alarm thats a smoke detector low battery, if you dont have one check your drawers.(It may also be a mobile phone, or DECT phone, or some other battery device)

Intruder alarm systems dont beep every five mins they either make lots of noise or no noise

the beep is coming from the optima control box -every 5 minutes -it isnt the bell outside and it is not a rogue mobile!

We have replaced the battery -and the beep continues :its the same tone as the usual tone when resetting the alarm putting in the code etc.

The alarm is working normally apart from this.

Your advice please ---anybody

It may be you have something on chime does the tone stop when you stop moving around? does it chime more often when you are in one particular room? (mind you all zones may be on chime)
